Formulas

    Bluff Equity

Bluff Equity = (Bet Size / (Bet Size + Pot Size))

Bluff Equity is a risk vs reward calculation. You calculate the amount risked (Bet Size) compared to the amount to win (Pot Size). Although these stats are all related, Bluff Equity is actually the inverse of Minimum Defense Frequency (MDF).

For example, if you bet $50 into a $100 pot your Bluff Equity will be 33.4%. This means if you are bluffing, you need your opponent to fold 33.4% of the time or more for your bluff to be profitable.

As your bet size increases, you will need folds more often to make the bluff profitable. Likewise as your bet size decreases you will need folds less often to make the bluff profitable. With IntuitiveTables, you will see your bluff equity go up and down as your bet size changes.

    Opponent Odds

Opponent Odds = (Amount to Call / (Amount To Call + Pot Size))

Opponent odds are simply the Pot Odds your opponent will be getting when facing your bet. This overlay helps you visualize the pot odds you will be giving your opponent as you change your bet sizing.

For example, if you bet $50 into a $100 pot you will give your opponent 25% (or 3:1) odds. By understanding your opponents pot odds in real-time, you can plan your sizing more strategically.

Troubleshooting

The Bluff Equity, Opponent Odds overlay isn't appearing.

It's possible you need to initialize (or reinitialize) your Ignition/Bodog/Bovada or Winamax client. This is a required step any time your poker client updates, or IntuitiveTables updates and you are prompted to initialize. Follow Step #1 in the Ignition Setup guide or the Winamax Setup guide.

For other sites like 888 or WSOP it's possible your client updated. First check to see if the newest version of IntuitiveTables works on the new client update, and if not contact support.

The Bluff Equity or Opponent Outs overlay is showing the wrong values.

Please use the Report Hand overlay during a hand the moment you see an incorrect value and send the diagnostics files to support.

Can I separate the overlays?

The overlays cannot be separated. They will move together and resize together. You can however put the overlay in a single row by changing the "Display panels on x columns" to 2 or 3 instead.
